About the Role
Job Description
- Study tender documentation such as instructions to the bidder, project requirements, specifications, drawings, and prepare a query list if any discrepancies, error or insufficient information.
- Apply additional design requirements for any uncleared specifications to complete the estimation drawing.
- Collaborate with the internal designer to collect necessary design information for estimation confirmation.
- Take off quantities, and ensure that the specification and quantity are correct as per the provided drawings.
- Verification and validation of BOQs
- Identification of discrepancies between design documentation, contractor BOQs, and actual quantities
- Preparation and maintenance of BOQs
- Development of cost comparison tables
- Support in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
- Participation in variation and change order assessmentsฃ
