Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Test Engineer, to join an established & growing client in the York area.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- To measure product and compile First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) against customer and Business requirements
- To manage the organisations calibration database
- To calibrate the company's measuring equipment against internal standards
- To manage the calibration of off‑site calibrated equipment
- To carry out the tensile test of cast test bars/castings against customer and business requirements
- To carry out the hardness test of cast test coins against customer and Internal requirements
- To carry out cast material composition testing against customer and Internal requirements
