About the Role
The Quality Engineer provides leadership and accountability for product and process quality within the Kraft Pulp Mill. This position plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operations by driving strong quality systems, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement. The Quality Engineer partners closely with Operations, Technical, Maintenance, Logistics, and Laboratory teams to drive quality excellence across the mill.
Responsibilities
- Act as a quality leader within the mill, demonstrating ownership for quality performance and outcomes
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate quality KPIs, daily quality performance, and off‑quality trends to support timely decision‑making
- Proactively identify quality deviations, lead investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure
