Join our vastly diverse Northwest division, managing the QA/QC and coating inspections at Rio Tinto’s Cape Lambert iron ore project, 40 kilometres north-east of Karratha.
THE ROLE
This opportunity will suit a knowledgeable inspector in delivering the day-to-day inspecting and reporting operations.
Duties include;
- Complete QA/QC Coating Inspections to applicable Australian and International standards
- Undertake visual inspection after abrasive blasting and before coating
- Inspect after coating application for coating defects
- Carry out surface profile tests
- Create coatings inspection reports
- Provide technical advice and assistance to the project team
