QA/QC Engineer

I. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Monitoring and administering the Quality Assurance / Quality Control Plan or Program and ensuring incorporated materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications. Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities.

II. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures the quality of materials (by sourcing the materials from right vendors, sample checking of materials, verification of test reports given by vendors in line with specification)
• Inspects all stages of construction to ensure that specified requirements are complied.
• Conducts final inspection after finishing touches.
• Prepares a documented inspection plan, addressing all stages of inspection and getting it approved by the proper authority so that inspection is objective.
