QA Engineer

1. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The QA Engineer (Web & API) is responsible for comprehensive testing of company web applications (React/TypeScript) and backend APIs (NestJS/Python). This role performs both manual and automated testing, covering functional testing, regression testing, API validation, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. The individual works within ADO test plans, writes and executes test cases, reports bugs with thorough documentation, and contributes to growing the team's test automation coverage. This is a hands-on testing role that requires understanding of the full application stack.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Web Application Testing

• Execute functional testing of React/TypeScript web applications across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).

• Perform regression testing for each sprint release – validate that existing features remain unaffected.
