About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily QA/QC inspection activities for steel products (forgings, flanges, fittings, plates, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ASTM International, American Petroleum Institute (API), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and ISO requirements
- Review Mill Test Certificates (MTC) and material traceability records
- Monitor incoming raw materials inspection (chemical composition, mechanical properties)
- Oversee dimensional inspection and non-destructive testing (UT, MT, PT, RT)
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Coordinate third-party inspections and customer audits
- Ensure calibration of measuring and testing equipment
- Train and guide QA inspectors and technicians
- Prepare quality reports and support documentation for shipment
