Python/Django Developer & Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a part-time Python/Django Developer & Data Engineer with experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to join our growing team. This role supports the maintenance and evolution of our data infrastructure, Django-based applications, and DevOps workflows during a critical transition period. You’ll work alongside a fractional Architect who will mentor and guide you to take ownership of the technical stack.

Responsibilities

Backend Development & Data Engineering

• Maintain and enhance Django-based applications.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines for healthcare datasets (e.g., claims, eligibility, prescriptions) using Python , Pandas , and SQLAlchemy .
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases (hosted on Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server ).
