About the Role
A leading buy-side investment firm is hiring a Python Developer to take ownership of production risk analytics platforms supporting live trading and portfolio management.
This is a hands-on engineering role with responsibility for risk data pipelines, backend architecture, and operational stability.
Key responsibilities
- Own and run mission-critical risk analytics systems used in a live trading environment
- Design and maintain production-grade Python services and data pipelines
- Build scalable backend architecture supporting batch and near–real-time risk calculations
- Ensure high standards around code quality, testing, monitoring, and reliability
- Act as an escalation point for production issues and drive long-term platform improvements
