About the Role
Barq Dev is hiring for a Senior Python/Django Engineer to join our team.
Must-Have
- 3+ years of experience with Python and the Django framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Develop and maintain backend services and web applications using Python and Django
- Experience in implementing RESTful APIs for seamless frontend-backend integration
- Decent understanding of frontend technologies (JavaScript, React)
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Team Leadership and mentorship experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment
Good-to-Have
- Experience with Flask or Fast API
- Familiarity with AWS, Heroku, Docker, and deployment tools
- LLM integration experience is a strong advantage
- Experience with caching (Redis, Memcached) and task scheduling
