Python Developer (Data Project - Contract)

Overview

MCS Group is partnering with a well-known Northern Irish organisation in Belfast to recruit a Software/Data Engineer for a short-term daily rate contract. This role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern (Belfast).

The Role

• Redevelop existing functions currently written in Python
• Carry out unit and performance testing

The Person (Qualifications)

• Strong software development background (e.g., C#, .NET)
• Proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and API architecture
• Experience building and deploying Azure serverless applications
• Experience with Data & Reporting projects (a major advantage)
• Happy to attend Belfast office to gather requirements necessary for the project
