About the Role
Job Summary
The Purchasing Supervisor / Assistant Secretary to the COO is responsible for overseeing procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality purchasing of goods and services. This role also provides administrative and secretarial support to the COO, ensuring proper coordination, documentation, and follow-through on operational and executive matters.
Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Procurement Functions
- Supervise daily purchasing operations, including requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, approval limits, and internal controls.
