Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers of construction materials, goods, and services.
- Negotiate and secure the most cost-effective contracts and deals with suppliers and vendors.
- Place bulk orders and manage purchase orders in accordance with project schedules.
- Prepare and submit cost analysis reports and purchasing summaries for management review.
- Review and ensure the quality of products and materials prior to approval and procurement.
- Make accurate scheduling requests for the timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all orders, payments, receipts, and supplier communications.
- Report and document any damaged or faulty purchases immediately.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics/delivery teams, and warehouse staff for smooth receipt and inventory of goods.
