About the Role
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing requirements to support production and sales demands.
- Negotiate delivery schedules and pricing with suppliers and clients to ensure cost efficiency and timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate closely with Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure products arrive on time, in complete quantities, and in good condition.
- Maintain and update internal databases and records with accurate order details, including dates, vendors, quantities, and pricing.
- Evaluate vendor quotations, compare offers, and negotiate improved pricing and commercial terms.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and analyze pricing trends.
- Prepare cost analyses and purchasing-related reports for management review.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm orders, expedite deliveries, or implement order changes as needed.
