Program Buyer ResponsibilitiesAnticipate specific requirements for new programs – supplier technologies, geography, target costs – and ensure commodity panel strategy supports the program.Identify and consult suppliers from the agreed panel, manage supplier RFQs, negotiate or collaborate with Commodity Buyers in supplier negotiations and final selection.Track program‐phase performance: manage suppliers, compare costs to objectives, ensure quality, respect delivery deadlines, and support program‐phase reviews within the Faurecia PMS framework.Engage Series Buyers early, before the series phase.Manage mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers.Negotiate Engineering Change Requests.Lead the global steering and sourcing committee meetings, optimizing purchasing assumptions globally, selecting options with the best landed cost and performance.Candidate Profile and CompetenciesMinimum education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent work experience.M...
