Purchasing Manager

Operational Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement of piling materials
• Process purchase requisitions and issue Purchase Orders (PO) in line with company SOP
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing
• Follow up on delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time to site
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, QS, site teams, and storekeepers on material requirements
• Monitor stock levels and highlight potential shortages or overstock situations
• Verify and maintain proper documentation (PO, DO, invoices, comparison sheets)
• Handle day-to-day supplier communication and resolve delivery or quality issues
• Track material usage versus purchase to minimize wastage
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and construction standards
