Responsibilities:
Lead, guide and grow Purchasing team by developing purchasing strategies, sourcing reliable suppliers, and ensuring timely, cost-effective and quality supply of materials and services that support production and distribution activities.
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business and supply chain goals.
Conduct Strategic sourcing and purchasing activities for direct and indirect materials in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
Translate production and sales forecasts into purchasing plans to ensure material availability.
Identify areas of improvement for both system and processes as well as establish best practices for purchasing.
Support demand planning by monitoring supplier lead times and capacity.
