Purchasing Lead

**Job description****Job Summary**The Indirect Purchasing Lead for Mexico (MX) Plant locations will manage the strategic purchasing activities for Indirect and MRO purchased components and materials as a key member of the DRiV Indirect Purchasing Team.The position will act as functional lead, supporting corporate and local initiatives and work in close collaboration with the needs of all MX Plant locations.Success will be measured on implementing savings initiatives from indirect spend categories while meeting key business objectives such as service, quality, timing, and security of supply.
**Responsibilities**- Work with corporate team and local stakeholders to lead, track, implement and validate cost savings initiatives.Host weekly meetings with key stakeholders to drive implementation activities and compliance.
- Conduct validation of implemented savings and work closely with Plant Controller to update forecast and actuals in WAVE reporting tool.
