Purchasing Executive

Overview

Vekan Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Purchasing Executive to join our team in Port Klang, Selangor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and end products. Your expertise will be instrumental in upholding our high standards and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for secondary process (plating), raw materials, and consumables.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery in line with production schedules.
• Coordinate with the Quality and Engineering departments to evaluate supplier process capability, plating performance, and compliance with RoHS/REACH requirements.
• Negotiate price, delivery terms, and contracts with local and overseas (China) vendors.
