About our Role
Join the Barminco team as a Pump Fitter and support our underground mining operations across Australia, with current opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you’ll play a key part in installing, maintaining, and repairing underground dewatering and service pumps ensuring effective water management and safe, continuous mining operations.
What will your day to day look like?
- Install, maintain, and repair underground dewatering and service pumps
- Monitor pump performance and respond to breakdowns and water management issues
- Conduct routine inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance
- Assemble and maintain pipework, valves, and associated fittings
- Work safely in an underground environment in line with site procedures
- Liaise with operations and maintenance teams to support continuous production
