PT Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, performs complete maintenance, operation and repair of furniture, fixtures, basic electrical items, HVAC systems, etc. In addition, will perform skilled and semi-skilled duties to maintain in good working condition all facility equipment, lighting and climate control systems, roofing systems, telecommunications, maintenance/cleaning equipment, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and additional duties assigned.


DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Repair and maintain drywall, fixtures, electrical switches, and furniture and plumbing items including toilets, sinks, water fountains, drainage pipes and sprinkler systems.• Inspect all fire extinguishers and alarms.• Replace and install all doors, locks and windows.• Order and/or pick-up adequate spare parts and supplies.• Record all work performed.
