General SummaryPerforms all electrical and mechanical assembly.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities- Prepares, loads and solders printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Soldering and rework of integrated circuits and CCAs, including jumpers if necessary.
- Knowledge and skill in the use of the hot air rework station.
- Fabricates wire harnesses and various cable assemblies.
- Mechanical assembly of panels, test boxes and chassis.
- Assembles and cables modules and racks.
- Wire wrapping and assembly of prototype boards.
- Performs special tasks.
- Principal contact is with engineers and engineering technicians, planners and stockroom personnel.
