Protocol Buffers Developer (Mid–Senior / Senior)

We are looking for a mid–senior to senior-level Protocol Buffers Developer to support large-scale systems for an EU institution. You will work with a high level of autonomy and take ownership of technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Work largely independently on the technical implementation of Protobuf-based solutions.
• Generate, maintain, correct and evolve Protocol Buffers schemas.
• Map and transform XML Schema Definitions (XSDs) into Protobuf schemas.
• Contribute to technical design and provide expert input to stakeholders on technical details.
• Support the team by reviewing and providing input on technical documentation (subject to agreement with the client).

Requirements

• Mid–senior to senior-level experience as a developer, comfortable working autonomously.
