Responsibilities:
Design and deliver complex protection solutions for generation, transmission, and distribution systems for electrical utilities and industrial clients.
Perform engineering studies and analyses such as short circuit, load flow, ground grid design, lightning protection studies, insulation coordination, arc-flash studies, and protective device coordination.
Create relay setting files including programming of Protection and Control Elements, Control Logic, and Communications settings for company and third-party protective relays.
Test customized Protection and Control solutions both in-house and at customer installations.
Provide factory acceptance test plans and testing services to validate protection designs for customer witnessing.
