About the Role

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Greater Manchester, who are recruiting for a Prosecutions & Regulatory Lawyer to join the team on an initial 3-month locum contract. The position is due to start immediately, and they're looking for someone for 22 - 30 hours p/week.
The hourly rate of pay is circa £55 - £60 via an Umbrella company, but this may be negotiable. The role will require attendance at court and committees in the Greater Manchester area.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor (or equivalent), and be experienced managing varied prosecutions cases at magistrates court.
Duties will include (but are not limited to): 
Managing a varied caseload of prosecutions and regulatory matters, with a primary focus on licensing work, particularly taxi licensing
