Property Officer

Overview

A respected social housing group is seeking a Property Officer for a temporary interim contract based across North Northamptonshire, initially for a minimum of 3 months. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation supporting vital housing services. The Property Officer role offers straightforward, hands-on work inspecting void properties to ensure homes are safe, secure, and ready for re-let, while working within a supportive housing team.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting void properties to check for abuse, vandalism, fly-tipping, or unauthorised occupation.
• Reporting any issues, damage, or health and safety concerns in a clear and timely manner.
• Completing basic inspection reports and updating internal systems.
• Liaising with housing and repairs teams to flag follow-on actions.
• Covering properties across the North Northamptonshire region during scheduled shifts.
