Project HSE

Astute's Power team are looking to recruit a Project HSE on a 8-month minimum contract for a large industrial project in Sheffield. Key skills Work closely with the project manager, supervisors and contractors as well as client representatives to maintain a safe working environment, prevent incidents, promote positive behaviours, and ensure strict adherence to RAMS, permits, emergency arrangements, site rules and Inspection Test Plans (ITP's). Provide HSEQ support to Supervisors during planning, execution and sequencing of construction activities in particular construction activities to meet ITP requirements. Lead and participate in site inspections, audits, behavioural safety observations and sensible monitoring programmes. Ensure controls are in place for high-risk activities including lifting operations, mobile plant and traffic management and working at heights.
