Project Engineer

Job Overview

The Project Engineer is responsible for automation DCS project deliveries (including technical implementation), ensuring timeliness, cost efficiency, and meeting customer expectations. The position involves working with customers from Pulp, Paper, Energy, and Process businesses.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning, including overall schedule, risk & opportunity analysis, and change management, according to Valmet project execution model and customer contracts.
• Serve as the main link between the DCS project team, ensuring timely communication and up‑to‑date information for all stakeholders.
• Maintain project technical standards, solutions, and documentation.
• Review project quality milestones and required quality assurance documentation.
• Design, configure, and commission automation systems.
