Project Engineer

Overview

One of our clients, a major player in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a Project Engineer to work in Sherwood Park, AB on a 1-year hybrid contract (Mon, Tue, Thu in office) , with potential for extension. This role focuses on coordinating the safe execution of capital maintenance, right-of-way repairs, and operational projects across the Prairie Region.

Responsibilities

• Finalize project design and scope, ensuring compliance with internal standards and risk mitigation.
• Prepare RFPs and evaluate consultant qualifications.
• Lead design reviews and manage change processes.
• Review critical operational plans (e.g., isolation, inspection, and test plans).
• Address safety and operability concerns through sound engineering practices.
• Ensure proper documentation is developed and submitted.
