Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
PRE-CONSTRUCTION
Prepares project budget and project schedule to be presented to management.
Conducts project bidding and recommends final awarding of contract packages.
Manages securing of necessary permits prior Construction.
Coordinates with mall personnel and project client for endorsement and possession of project area.
Checks and reviews engineering drawings from EDD Design and conducts site inspection prior to project implementation.
CONSTRUCTION
Monitors daily project accomplishment, inventory of materials and manpower.
Prepares purchase requisition forms (PR) with accurate quantities and ensures timely delivery of owner supplied materials (OSM's).
Updates and consolidates all construction-related documents (e.g. Owner Instruction slip, Change order forms, Design Change Notice, Task Tracker, Visual Diary, etc.).
Ensures construction quality adheres to issued Final Construction Plans and approved specifications.
