Project Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Accountant for a defined contract period to support the migration of our financial systems. This role is critical for ensuring data integrity and validating system functionality during the transition. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong accounting background to execute and document key migration tasks, including parallel runs and comprehensive data validation.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

The primary focus of this role will be supporting the system migration, which includes:

• System Parallel Run Execution: Actively participate in the parallel run testing phase by running financial transactions and generating reports in both the legacy and new systems.
• Data Validation & Integrity: Execute detailed validation procedures, comparing ledger data, transaction balances, and financial outputs between the legacy and new systems to ensure 100% accuracy and consistency.
