Job Role: Production/Planning Engineer

Location: Coventry

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Metalis are working exclusively with a precision engineering company in Coventry (CV6), who are looking for a Production/Planning Engineer to join their team.

Job Duties:

Understand the company quality systems and improve with the managers and directors
Preparation of quotations as required
Organisation of engineering drawing systems
Preparation of spreadsheets for costing and budget analysis purposes
Maintaining existing and setting up new supplier relationships
Preparation and issuing of Purchase Orders to suppliers
Phoning suppliers to request quotations, preparation and sending of Requests For Quotations to suppliers.
Design and control of inspection procedures in conjunction with the quality manager and the presentation of inspection data to customers
Process planning of those parts to be operated by ourselves
