Production Engineer

Headley have a vacancy for an experienced Production Engineer with an established engineering business near Leeds.
The company manufacture a range of complex, technical products and require skilled and motivated engineers to add to their team
This is a machine shop job position and would be suited to apprentice trained CNC machinists with “off tools” experience.
Duties of the role to include:
* Creating manufacturing programs using CAM software
* Component modelling where required
* Planning and scheduling of jobs, creating job routings and job cards
* Estimating process lead times
* Selection of appropriate tooling and liaising with suppliers
* Purchasing of materials and consumables as required
* Liaising with sub contract partners as required
Required experience:
* Apprentice trained machine shop engineer, or similar.
* Career experience working in machine shop environments
