Production Engineer

The Company and Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and highly skilled Production Design Engineer to join their production team. They are a well-established electronics manufacturer based in the High Wycombe area.

Key Responsibilities

This is a diverse role that encompasses all tasks required to enable and facilitate efficient and successful production. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing work procedures and issuing detailed work instructions.

• Reviewing printed circuit board (PCB) designs

• Programming SMT pick and place machines

• Designing and assembling test jigs for productions 

• Building wiring harnesses for programming devices.

• Troubleshooting production issues and identifying solutions.

• Liaising with product designers as required.

• Monitoring equipment functionality and resolving or escalating any performance issues.
