Product Engineer

Job Description

As part of the Optics Supply Chain Engineering Organization, the Product Engineer will work with R&D in Sunnyvale and New York, Nokia EMS partners in South East Asia and subcomponent vendors to introduce new products, ramp production and provide sustaining engineering for the life of the product. The PE will ensure the designs are manufacturable and that all associated product manufacturing documentation is complete and correct. In addition, the product engineer will provide support to mass production ensuring the NOKIA quality, yield and delivery requirements for the product are met.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Work with EMS and subcomponent suppliers to understand their DFX requirements.
• Engage R&D to close any DFX issues.
• Drive technical activities to ensure supply chain readiness.
• Work with manufacturers, supply chain and development to address FMAs and associated SCARs.
