Product Design Engineer

Job Description

The Commercial Vehicle Products Group at Garrett Advancing Motion is looking for a Design Engineer to support the development of cutting‑edge new products to meet ever increasing demands of the transportation industry. This position requires a basic understanding of turbochargers & vehicle systems combined with creativity and drive to develop new products based on customer needs. Responsibility spans from supporting concept development of complex projects, support through test/validation and launch. The Design Engineer leads the application design integrating all aspects from rotor systems and mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross‑functional teams including Development Engineering, Program Management, Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Base to ensure robust designs.
• Use internal standards & industry experience to design complex systems, that meet customer specific requirements & packaging space.
