Product Application Engineer (Vision Buyoff)

Responsibilities

• Perform machine vision buyoff both in the factory and on-site with customers, ensuring it is completed within schedule and meets quality standards
• Perform machine vision verification prior to machine setup
• Prepare technical machine buyoff reports
• Conduct quality issue investigations, working closely with the vision development team to identify issues and implement solutions
• Provide technical training and application support to customers worldwide on machine vision products
• Troubleshoot vision equipment failures and diagnose faulty operations
• Perform vision evaluation for new applications and customer requirements
• Conduct vision hardware or software evaluation and prepare technical evaluation report accordingly
• Provide on-call or on-site support during days off when needed
• Prepare and update user manual and troubleshooting guidelines
