About the Role

Summary

The Procurement Planner is responsible for ensuring raw materials, components and sub-assemblies are delivered to the Cambridge production sites to support production needs at optimal efficiency. This role manages material planning, deploys inventory strategies, coordinates product changes, and drives supplier execution while monitoring supply constraints and production schedules. The planner uses MRP/ERP tools to create supply requirements, elevate issues, and pursue continuous improvement across procurement and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

  • Define manufacturing component needs from production plans, stock, lead times and stock policies.
  • Create and deploy supply requirements via MRP and monitor open POs for on-time delivery.
  • Expedite or defer orders and manage inter-company material flows to maintain production continuity.
  • Resolve PO issues, invoice discrepancies, returns and supplier quality problem...
