• Management of people and departmental activities
• Manage and supervise procurement staff
• Assist in departmental budget planning and monitoring
• Supplier management and strategic sourcing: identify key and niche suppliers based on needs and initiate commercial and organizational partnerships
• Establish and manage supplier relationships
• Negotiate procurement details with external suppliers to obtain favorable terms
