Main responsibilities
- Participate in supplier evaluations, including analyzing supplier proposals, conducting negotiations, and making supplier recommendations.
- Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and adherence to contract terms.
- Assist in the development and improvement of procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze procurement spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance.
- Participate in cost-reduction initiatives
- Review purchasing orders and identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and selected the most suitable ones to meet the organization's requirements.
