Process Engineer - Whitby

Job description:

• Play a key role in leading process development and overseeing daily injection molding operations
• Be instrumental in the successful launch of new molds
• Establish robust and efficient processes, supporting accurate quoting and driving continuous improvement across the companys molding operations
• Injection Molding Process Development
  • Establish, document, and optimize molding process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) for new and existing tools
  • Conduct DOE and scientific molding studies to enhance quality, reduce scrap, and improve efficiency
  • Lead first-off and validation runs for new molds; support PPAP and capability studies in collaboration with Quality
  • Troubleshoot process issues such as warpage, short shots, and inconsistent cycle times to ensure stable production
