Reports To: Engineering Manager / Operations Manager
1. Job Summary
The Process Engineer is responsible for improving sheet metal and CNC machining manufacturing processes. This includes process setup, optimization, cost reduction, troubleshooting, documentation, and supporting new product introduction (NPI).
2. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Development & Improvement
- Develop and optimize machining, laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly processes.
- Improve cycle time, reduce rework/scrap and enhance process capability.
- Support fixture, jig, and tooling design to improve production efficiency.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOP), process flow, and work instructions.
