About the Role
Process Control Specialist/Engineer
Reporting to the Manager, Operational Excellence, the Process Control Specialist/Engineer will provide technical and engineering expertise to the Operations and Maintenance departments to support the mill’s safety, environmental, cost, quality, and reliability performance objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on process control strategy efficacy and routine activities.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to automation hardware, software, and control elements.
- Plan and execute new automation strategies to improve operational outcomes.
- Manage the full lifecycle of operational technology hardware and software.
- Support capital engineering and maintenance departments with technical expertise.
- Develop and maintain process control standards, policies, and technical documentation.
