About the Role
Role Overview:
The Deputy Manager – Design & Automation will be responsible for designing, standardizing, and automating operational processes across fruit marketplaces and mandis. This role combines layout & process design, automation system development, and on-ground execution to drive efficiency, quality, safety, and scalability across operations.
Work Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Travel to operational sites to observe, validate, and improve processes)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Layout Design & Operational Planning:
- Design efficient 2D layouts for mandi operations, centralized unloading stations, and sorting/grading lines.
- Plan resource deployment based on volume flows and throughput targets.
- Optimize material movement to reduce handling time and operational costs.
