Privacy Manager

The opportunity to work for a growing bank, to manage and mitigate privacy risks. 

You'll be part of the wider Compliance function, currently a team of 10 people. This role is essential in protecting customer information, managing data risks in a rapidly evolving digital landscape and upholding trust in the bank. You'll be the point person for the Privacy reforms, and the go to for any privacy queries. 

In the role you'll have responsibility for:

• Privacy Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and other relevant privacy laws including 2LOD oversight of the privacy impact assessment process.
• Data Governance: Develop and maintain robust data governance policies to protect sensitive information and ensure ethical data usage.
