The Commissioner of Wairoa College is seeking a visionary and resilient tumuaki to lead our kura through a pivotal era of recovery and transformation. Wairoa College is the heart of a community that has faced significant challenges, including recent climate-driven flood events and geographic isolation. We require a proven leader (3 years Principalship experience) who is a registered teacher and holds a deep commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The successful candidate will be a 'Community Tumuaki'—someone who understands that education in Wairoa is inextricably linked to the socio-economic and environmental recovery of the region.
