Principal Structural Engineer / Major Projects (AMIStructE)

Our client is seeking a Senior / Executive Structural Engineer to investigate, analyse and report on structural failures to major & complex structures, damage and construction defects etc.

Responsibilities

• Work from home and operate throughout the Greater London / South East regions. In terms of investigation, survey / determine causation and assess the extent of damage caused.
• Write / submit full reports, outlining findings and advising clients with regards to policy liability and nature / extent of damage.
• Act as an Expert Witness in depositions and court proceedings regarding construction defects and/or failures, as required.
• Design repair schemes / remedial measures, as well as project manage multiple repairs, ensuring compliance with building codes and maintaining project timelines and budgets.
