About the Role

Wood in Reading are seeking a Principal Project Engineer to join us on a contract basis for a large FEED project. This is an initial 6 month contract working 4 days per week in our Green Park office with 1 day at home.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Prior background in project engineering preferable
Engineering experience, with infrastructure (undergrounds or electrical) is beneficial
Experience in an appropriate industry (ideally in one or more of Oil & Gas, LNG & GTL, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Power, Carbon Capture) 
Be commercially astute and understand the different approaches required to managing lump sum and reimbursable work.
Have a broad technical knowledge.
