Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Development Engineer to join our team and take ownership of testing and validating Optical Modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical module testing, automation, and quality assurance, ensuring that our products meet high-performance and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Validate hardware performance using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers (BERT), vector network analyzers (VNA), and optical spectrum analyzers (OSA).
Conduct root-cause analysis and debugging of hardware issues during bring-up and testing phases.
Ensure hardware meets industry standards such as IEEE , OIF, and MSA specifications.
Work with suppliers to evaluate and qualify critical components including lasers, modulators, drivers, TIAs, and DSPs.
