About the Role
The role involves providing technical leadership for railway track design projects in New Zealand to ensure client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include conducting leading track design activities, supporting the New Zealand Transport Infrastructure Team, mentoring junior team members, and reviewing their work for quality. Provide expert advice on rail alignment and track design, ensuring compliance with business development and project delivery standards.
+ To provide support in the production of track design proposals, as required.
+ To supervise and direct track design projects and assist in the professional and technical development of junior members of staff.
+ Coordinate the production and timely delivery of track alignment designs from a range of clients.
+ Undertake the design of horizontal and vertical track alignments, track structure and track form incorporating the appropriate components.
+ Write track design specifications and alignment criteria.
